Born and raised in Nagasaki and living now in Yokohama. Studied English literature in Kyoto and Art History in Norwich (England). Served in the field of international relations for about 10 years in governmental organizations at the prefectural and national levels. Working as a freelance patent translator since 2006 and licensed as an interpreter-guide in English in 2009.
