Born and raised in Iwakuni, a castle town in Western Japan. After graduating from a college in Hiroshima, worked for an oil company for several years, concurrently served as in-house magazine editor and assisted employees' international exchange meeting. Acquired the national license of interpreter-guide in English in 2011.

- Have keen interest in Japanese traditional culture and avid learner of ikebana, calligraphy and wagashi-making.
