Born and raised in Kobe. Majored in communication at University in Osaka. After working for a food company in the public relations department, studied Media and Art at the State University of New York at Buffalo and lived in the U.S. for more than ten years. Returned to Japan in 2001. Have been working as a business interpreter and interpreter-guide.
